At Ciardullo Ranch, we honor a nose-to-tail philosophy, ensuring nothing from our God-given, 100% grass-fed and finished, humanely raised cattle goes to waste. We carefully and slowly render the high-quality, nutrient-rich fat into small-batch cooking tallow. The result is a delicious, healthy, and stable fat.
Our cooking tallow is incredibly versatile and complements all your favorite recipes. With a high smoke point of 450ºF, it’s the perfect and safest fat for frying. Use it as a butter or oil replacement. Here at Ciardullo Ranch, we use tallow in just about everything! Our favorites include frying potatoes, searing steak, and roasting.
Tallow is naturally shelf-stable for a year. Store your holy cow tallow on the counter for easy scooping or refrigerate if you prefer. During warmer months, it may arrive in its liquid state, and in colder temperatures, it may be firm—both are completely normal. It will return to its normal consistency at room temperature.
