Raw Local Colorado Honey

The honeybee-one of God’s sweetest creations is a blessing to our ranch. The marvelous bees are vital to the foundation of our business-grass. Bees can pollinate 80% of flowering crops including alfalfa and other grasses which feed our livestock. 

Unfortunately, urban sprawl, monoculture farming and the use of pesticides have all contributed to destroying bees' habitat. So, here at Ciardullo Ranch, we are honored to work alongside local beekeepers to provide them with healthy, chemical-free pastures needed to sustainably raise their bees. These bees pollinate our pastures and breathe life into legumes like clover and alfalfa that provide sustenance to our cattle and sheep. We are excited to share with you another bonus of keeping bees around, honey!

Our pure, raw and unfiltered honey is full of an abundance vitamins and nutrients. It also has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It can soothe a sore throat, help tame a cough, alleviate cold and allergy symptoms and even calm digestive issues. Truly, I am in awe of how God provides for us through his beautiful creation. 

Due to seasonal variances, texture, consistency, color and flavor will vary from batch-to batch. Naturally, raw honey will crystalize overtime. Place honey in a warm water bath to re-liquify, just be sure to never heat above 100℉ as this destroys the beneficial properties of the honey. Our churned honey is not processed in any way.
